Although these are not questions frequently asked by college students, they become a central focus once students move into the “real world.” Join us on March 25th for our second event in financial education for undergraduate women. At this event, we will discuss the relationship that people have with their money, common behavioral pitfalls associated with investing and financial management, and the fundamentals of a successful investment portfolio. The event will cover: Behavioral Finance, Budgeting Basics, Stocks/Bonds/Mutual funds, Retirement Plans, and Portfolio Theory.

Featuring Guests: Sherri Powers, Ben Sadtler, and Peter Gore of Gore Capital Management LLC

"Who Runs the World: Women in Leadership & Money Management"

What's it like in the "real world?" How can I juggle all the things I have to do and manage my money? How can I become financially independent?

Join us on April 10th at the Mason School of Business as we talk money, savings, investing, and "the real world" with successful women who have the answers. After exploring the basics of money management and defining the principles of investing at our previous events, this event will bring together four successful and inspirational women from various backgrounds to share their expertise in investing and managing personal finances amid busy careers and fulfilling lives.

Guest Speakers Jen Gasior of J.P. Morgan, Frances Aylor of the CFA Institute, Leila Peck of Morgan Stanley, and Jena Burgess of Coach Jena B. LLC will share their own experiences, mistakes made, lessons learned, and suggestions for collegiate women on what they can start doing now in order to secure their financial future.
