Born and raised in New York, she attended Half Hollow Hills High School East, where her senior year economics class peaked her interest in economics and finance. A passionate advocate for the financial literacy of women, she felt as though the organization fulfilled a great need on the College of William & Mary campus. Through Smart Woman Securities, she hopes to provide the diverse women of the College of William & Mary with the confidence and knowledge to break down any barriers of intimidation that have previously deterred them from investing and taking an active role in their finances. Apart from Smart Woman Securities, on campus, Giana is the president of the Mason Diversity Ambassadors and Alpha Lambda Delta, as well as the Vice President of the Economics Club, Women in Business, and the National Society for Collegiate Scholars.
